No single solution for life

There is an utopic fantasy that a single formula/trick solution/ approach will make life good and all will be fine and dandy.

This is not going to work in real life.

There are multiple aspcts to life and endless challenges.

Some good ideas will be useful. Maybe even very useful. But there is no such a thing as a single idea that will solve everything and let you not think, not fight and not make effort. There will always be the need for ad-hoc thinking. For looking at what happens and attend to the various aspects and challenges that come throught.

Yes, there is, you have to look for moral aim. Knowing what is good and what is bad is escential and a perfect formula to live right, see the golden rule that Karen Armstrong teach us to follow.

You are absolutely right! I disagree with the above comment. It is NOT just a matter of determining what is "good" and what is "bad," as it is not always possible to categorize things this way. Some things are not clearly good or bad, right or wrong. Sometimes there is no "right" thing to do although something HAS to be done. What is morally right to one person might be completely unacceptable to another.

If you are a scientist: Would you care about solutions for you or for everybody? Would you care about moral or about material solutions? If you are economist: Would you care about yourself or your family or your country rather than the whole humanity? Everything or in every choice you have to look for moral aim, even Nassim is doing that, Karen Armstrong and kahneman too, Gilber too, but if know this you know more than others ignorants like bernanke or hitler, or corrupt nations, and you have to shed light in order to fix the mess. I'm amazed how some people thing or are trying to seek many ways to live better with out understantig the meaning of life and follow the golden rule: "Do not do to others what you would not like to be done to you" and this aply to everything in order to be happy. If you know this your research would be different and easier to handle.
