I bought a newspaper

because I got seduced at the grocery store.

On the way, I realized what a mistake it was. I threw it to the garbage before entering my house. It is better to lose the buck I already paid for the paper, than lose a chunk of brain and some time.

Unhealthy food, should be thrown away as soon as you realize that it is negative to eat it. "Do not waste it" is irrational and unethical. The Talmud recognized it two millenia ago, when saying that the prohibition of wasting stuff, is irelevant when the body is the counter party. "The waste of the body is more important".

There has been times when it was crucial to keep food. Nowadays our trouble is the opposite and attitudes should be adjusted accordingly.

cool + true observations...
- how much do you do for your body (instead of wasting time on ... whatever)?
- and why the body as a measure, why not the soul, the spirit, the other ... or what?

I value body, spirit, soul consciouness, etc.
I believe happiness depends on all of them. Trouble starts when you have trade-offs to make.

I think people differ in how much weight they attach to each of these (body, soul, etc.).
No idea what is "correct". There is an idea that consciousness is what counts. Others see consciousness as just a proxy for the body. There are other options too. No opinion.

Always good stuff.

I'm curious, as I have been before, how do you spend most of your time?

Thanks.

No rules aobut my time.
I am trying to get various neccessities done. Make my best to enjoy the moment, i.e. read as much as concentration provides.

I am also trying to write, and explore various topics.

Except this, I do not have a clearly defined plan.
